Comment: This girl has the Pop Diva Dance Floor Queen FORCE, like Darth Vader, age and illness doesn't stop her because she has the ESSENCE. A must have. Customer Rating: Summary: Kylie's X Comment: X marks Kylie Minogue's tenth studio album. After battling cancer she has returned with a strong disc full of dancefloor hits. 2 Hearts, Like a Drug, In My Arms, and The One are some of the stand out tracks on this cd. I have loved her for year, but this has to be my favorite record since Impossible Princess. Does not disappoint. Customer Rating: Summary: I'm in love! Woo! Comment: The return of the princess is here! From track to track this album is pure electro joy that will have you grooving and moving all night long. After a brief absence from the musical world, Kylie returns with her best album yet. X is amazing and is not to be passed up! 2 Hearts: The lead single in the UK is a great electro stomp song that shows the strut of Miss Minogue returning in full force. Sultry laziness in the vocals and a chorus you can't stop singing this song showed the return of the greatest export Australia has! Like A Drug: A night at the clubs wouldn't be right if this song wasn't played. About the intense rush of being out on the floor this song is catchy and the ultimate in club music. In My Arms: The third UK single and a surefire hit. The song is a spacey disco funk that has you slamming with the energy of it. Such a ride. Speakerphone: Trapped in a world of music this song brings to light the elements of what makes a night out what it is. Perfectly connected lyrics will have you singing along in no time with this catchy tune. Sensitized: This song is the ultimate in showing off Kylie's sensuality through music. With breathy vocals and the right attitude behind it this song becomes a masterpiece. Heart Beat Rock: Brings you to a hip-style world where the boys are smooth and the girls are cute and you just want to join right in. Ultimate in catchy and shows great style. The One: An epic electro song with perfect words to describe the magic of love. Setting the scene of a dream this song plays the part of the fan favorite for the album. Pure pop perfection and not to be missed. No More Rain: About the return to the stage and the magic of the energy involved with the crowd. Beatiful layered vocals and lyrics make this song an awesome addition to this album. All I See: The US promo song and a great radio hit. The song is smooth and sweet and just makes you wanna dance. Stars: Combines the elements of rock and electro with fantastic lyrics to make this song an epic. Shows the skill of Kylie like never before. Wow: It's in the title, this song is Wow. Majorly energetic and a great Euro hit. Just makes you smile. This is a perfect addition to the pop world. Nu-di-ty: Elements of many different styles all come together in this song. A different subject than Kylie normally tackles and is pulled off with amazing ease. Latch on to the odd beats and sing along to this blend of hip hop and electro. Cosmic: Almost an out of body experience looking back upon her life, Kylie writes a song about the struggles of saying no and wanting to be heard. This song showcases a little more of her vocal talent in a simple way that closes the album off nicely. Bonus Track: All I See featuring MIMS: The track is just as the orginal topped off with an innovative rap from MIMS that allows the instrumentals of the orginal to be heard more. A great addition to the original album. Overall, if you don't already own X your missing out on one of the greatest electro albums of all time. The only thing that could make this album better was if it had more songs! I highly recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of pop, dance, electro, music or just Kylie! It's impossible to compare this album to another. It stands in a class of it's own! Welcome back Kylie! Customer Rating: Summary: A fitting farewell.. it's time to go.. Comment: Kylie has had an incredible career and is as beautiful as ever. However, this album is simply not something I'll probably ever bother listening to a 2nd time. It's over produced and needlessly slick. Her voice is affected and almost nasal in most of the tracks here. There is a notable lack of interesting melody throughout, and the overly synthetic sound of most of the production simply falls flat compared to most of the decent dance/pop/hip hop that's coming out recently. One possible standout is Cosmic that has some merit, but it's hardly enough to save the album. More Reviews

For months fans have been referring to the title of the new album as X, so when it came to naming the album it was the obvious choice!
