Comment: Folks, I just received my Gaither catalog. Thought I would give you the highlights of Rock of Ages. Yes, I have pre-ordered mine. On a personal note I was blessed with a down's syndrome brother who left for his heavenly home in Jan, 08. Bobby loved the Gaither's. I took him to the Concerts and we stayed till the last song was sung. Last October we had to place Bobby in a nursing home. He took all his Gaither dvd's - about 75 of them. He played them constantly and the nursing home changed. At a memorial service a nurse said that no patient had ever brought such a change to this particular nursing home as Bobby did.
We donated all Bobby's Gaither dvd's to the nursing home. They are playing them on portable dvd players for patients too ill to attend activities, using them in chapel, and other activities.
I do not own any stock in Amazon so when I say you can't beat Amazon's price that is a personal statement. The videos sells elsewhere for $29.95. If you have a few dollars buy an extra one of Rock of Ages, Down by the Tabernacle, Amazing Grace, etc and give it to a nursing home in your area. You will be blessed and so will they.
I gave this five stars - it is difficult not to give a Gaither video 5 stars even if you haven't seen it yet.
