Summary: Poor Vocals
Comment: Nice guitar work from Lindsey, and overall an enjoyable performance. However, his vocals on many of the songs are strained.....out of key...and often annoying. His performances on "The Dance" and "Live in Boston" blow these away. I'd buy those before this one.

Summary: Do Not Write Him Off
Comment: A vital talent to the music industry. An innovative musician that continues to create new and progressive music and lyrics. Don't write him off as that guy from Fleetwood Mac. Listen and allow his complex sound to penetrate your brain and see if you can feel the intensity of Lindsey Buckingham. This CD/DVD set is a mixture of old and new stuff with the old stuff presented with fresh twists. Whether you like LB's music or not, there is no denying the guy is a talent like no other.

Summary: Great performance LB, poor choice of songs though...
Comment: As always a guitar playing masterclass from the God like fingers of Mr Buckingham. Those long slowly building solo's that build to a huge crescendo are in evidence once again. There are two of those in fact, and LB goes close to madness in parts by just slapping at the guitar in an almost trance-like state! And yet; the solo's still look easy for him, and sound sublimely brilliant of course! Would you expect anything less?
The band is the same as on the Soundstage DVD 'TV' gig of course, and they are all great players up there on stage with LB. The setting for the concert (the truly beautiful Bass Performance Hall) looks a stunning venue to play...
The performance has been lovingly recorded both for audio and video (in fact I think it's been recorded in HD even if the DVD here is SD).
The one thing that IMO reduces this DVD from 5 to 4 stars in the setlist. It's a strange mixture of songs, mostly from the latest album of course. But even then the two best songs from it I think are missing (Down on Rodeo and I Am Waiting). Songs from LB's finest solo hour 'Out Of The Cradle' are criminally missing.
Still, another great feast for Fleetwood Mac & LB fans.

Comment: I thought the concert portion was excellent. Excellent leads as usual. This is if you love Lindsey Buckingham. The video footage for the most part was cool. Some of it was a little bit dragged out. The entire DVD was very artsy.

Comment: I must say that after immersing myself in this Cd Dvd I found It absolutely stunning and exeptionally brilliant. I can realy appreciate this creativity and the great care that was taken with this work. The new songs and the old work great together with the live band. As always Lindseys guitar work had me playing air guitar through the whole performance, even when I had tears in my eyes during three of the tracks.
I love how the new songs are stripped back and are so creative, Simply Beautiful. I think that Lindsey Buckingham realy cares so much about everything that he does and long may this go on.
P.S. I can't wait for his next studio album, or even something from 'The Mac'

Lindsey Buckingham's 2006 Under The Skin, the first solo album from the Fleetwood Mac Rock and Roll Hall of Famer since 1992, was a glorious, critically acclaimed comeback Rolling Stone ranked among the year's Top 50 albums. In January 2007, his performance in Fort Worth, TX, was filmed, and later premiered on HDNet. That stellar concert, which included songs from Under The Skin as well as Fleetwood Mac favorites such as "Go Your Own Way," is now available in both CD and DVD formats with Live At Bass Performance Hall.
