Summary: The Last of the Full Grown Men Proves That He Was Born To Be Wilder!!
Comment: This is a great live show recorded in August 2005. It captures the energy of a Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks show.
Webb and the Beatnecks sound great. The lineup on this CD is Webb on vocals and leading the triple guitar assault with Tony Bowles and George "The Tone Chaperone" Bradfute, Tom Comet on bass and Jimmy Lester on drums.
I am a big fan of the man and the band and I must say it is one of my favorite CDs.

Born To Be Wilder (recorded live at WorkPlay in Birmingham, Alabama) captures the full flavor of Nashville-based roots rocker Wilder's live performances: booming baritone vocal delivery, blazing guitar licks, and a punchy rhythm section, overlaid with a healthy dose of his quirky humor.
