Summary: Flame brings the goods...again!
Comment: Ok, I'm not a very big rap fan, as my name might imply. I love metal and rock, but somehow, Flame has earned my respect and I really like his music.
He isn't your average Christian rapper, trying to make songs about shootin' demons and pimpin' the devil and trying to be gangster in a Christian way. Flame's songs are all very well written and present Jesus Christ in a very real way. Again, there are no pompous claims to be the best and baddest rapper or any of that other baggage. Just Flame rapping for his Jesus.
Our World Redeemed is a sequel to his previous album, Our World Fallen. This is an original album and all the music is very original. Most of the time I have a problem with Christian music because it is a poor copy cat of secular music. Not Flame! He sets the bar up high!

Comment: I heard 'Goodness to Repentance' on Our World: Fallen first and hoped Our World: Redeemed wasn't a dissappointing sequel like some Pt. 2's in movies are, but it was great! I should've known because OWF led me to 'Open My Heart' on a prior CD and I'm having a "FLAME FEST"!! Anyone connected to Cross Movement (which deserves accolades alone) is legit and hard hitting Christian Rap. This CD has major priority in my car, mp3 player... just everywhere!! I LOVE IT!! The major plus is I hipped my brother to OWF and he gives it mad props! OWF & OWR are witnessing tools, and now I should bless him with a copy of OWR!

Summary: So hot you'll need a fan
Comment: Man, I picked this cd up the other week and stuck it in my player and WOW! Flame has become my new favorite holy hip hopper. He brought the chops and laid it down sizzling with powerful imagery and lyrics that wouldn't let up. I still love Lecrae, but Flame outdid himself. The music is glowing with some extremely gifted producers and djs and all that stuff. Flame also got some extremely gifted rappers to be guests on his cd. I don't really see any weak links in what he's saying at all. The man set out to bring a story on his "Our World" cds and I believe he accomplished what he set out to do. He told the story of redemption and how it can only come through Christ and his death and resurrection. All I can say is that if Flame continues in this route, I'll be picking up more of him in the future.
