Customer Rating: Summary: He put some blood, SWEAT and tears into this album Comment: The cover of "Just Me" contains a picture of Keith Sweat with a suit on, staring into the camera with a serious look on his face. This album cover gives listeners a clue as to what kind of tone the album has. This album has a very relaxed and mature tone to it. I have heard a great deal of Keith Sweat's music on the radio, but I never listened to any of his LPs. If his past work is as pleasing as "Just Me", I have no problem taking a listen to it. I enjoyed every song on this album. Sweat is known for "whining", but his whining on this album is very minimum. He is doing much more crooning than begging this time around.
Most of the tracks found here are ballads. There are a few mid-tempo cuts, but there is nothing really fast here. Further, the vast majority of this music is about women and all-out sex. While Sweat is usually remotely tasteful, he gets pretty raunchy sometimes. Personally, I don't mind that, but more conservative individuals will have a problem with the raunchiness. The album begins with a wonderful song called "Someone." I replayed this song over and over again! Sweat has a nice falsetto voice that I never knew about; he uses it through this entire song. The hook, lyrics and production are all creative. This song is the best on "Just Me." The second best moment is a song called "Butterscotch." This is another sexy ballad that will get you plenty of advances if you were to play it in the bedroom with your mate. The lyrics say "You're qualified, let's do what freaks do." Sweat gives us lots of energy on "Me and My Girl." This mid-tempo number has a nice beat and a catchy hook. In "Teach Me", Sweat tells a lady that he will teach her new sexual techniques and he hopes that she is a quick learner. Most of the beats on this album contain only a drumming and piano arrangement, but this formula truly works for him.
I highly recommend this album to those who enjoy mellow and relaxing R&B music. After taking a listen to this album, I respect Keith Sweat as a musician a lot more. A job well done. 4 shining stars!
Mikeisha's Top 5

Customer Rating: Summary: It makes me say "Suga Suga Suga" 1 of his BEST CDs Comment: What can I say, I am so glad I got this CD one of my favorites cds. I telling the truth. I wasn't goin to get it because i was like, ok he has one track "Suga Suga Suga" and that would be the only one on the cd that is good. Oh I WAS SOOOO WRONG. Keith Sweat is puttin it down on this cd and some of the song dont even sound like him(you old school peeps know what I mean he doesn't sound like he is bagging). This cd has it all from school beats, hip hop and those classic keith sweat's slow jams. What else can I say. This cd reminds me of Keith Sweat very 1st cd "Make It Last Forever". Very mature music for the "grown and sexy people". Thank you for reading my review and God Bless.
Customer Rating: Summary: He's back .......and stronger than ever Comment: All I got to say is that Keith Sweat did the dayum thing with this cd. I love this cd. It has me grooving and swaying and singing along with him. I think this is one of his best cd's in a long time. If you love Keith, you will love this one!
Customer Rating: Summary: He's Back and still the King of Songs to make love to Comment: I am currently serving in the Army in Iraq but when I heard Mr. Sweat had a new CD out, I had to have it. I have every one of his Albums and he never disappoints. To quote Keith "When you think of sex, you think of Sweat!" I maybe a little bias because when it comes to love songs I no one can do it better than Keith. "Just Me" shows that eventhou he is older he can still beg with the best of them. This album is a must have for Sweat fans!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: SEXY IS BACK Comment: THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CD. KEITH SWEAT IS A MUSICAL GENIUS OF LOVE. HE BOUGHT SEXY BACK REAL STRONG. A MUST HAVE...

True to the title of his #1 debut album, R&B superstar Keith Sweat is out to Make It Last Forever. Two decades after his initial breakthrough, Sweat's new album Just Me more than proves he's still the master of the slow jam, delivering deep soul grooves in the tradition of his classic hitsand sounding right in sync with 21st century R&B. Harlem-born Sweat first rose to fame at the height of the new jack swing era, and Teddy Riley, his celebrated producer from back in the day, collaborates with Sweat on the Just Me track "The Floor." Other highlights include "Butterscotch," featuring Athena Cage (who vocalized with Sweat on his #1 R&B mega-hit "Nobody"), "Love You Better" featuring Keyshia Cole, "Suga Suga Suga" with Paisley Bettis, and the album-opening "Somebody" featuring Chris "F.L.O" Conner.
