Customer Rating: Summary: Greatest Hits-Milli Vanilli Comment: This Album Sucks-What A Way To Ruin The Original Versions ! Buy Their Only Album-Girl You Know It's True. That CD And That CD Only Has The Songs That You Want, With The Way They Should Sound !!! Throw This Cd In The Garbage !!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: They are to REMEMBER Comment: ... I don't care what anybody says, people get all obssessed and talk about how someone else sang those songs, how not all of them are perfect, but at the end all of you know you danced to those tunes in front of your TV or school dances, or parties. Cause those are the songs we had blast to or shared our first kisses or million other things.
So enjoy it, because it is an awesome CD.
I personally loved it!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not as good as the original singers, which is sad that they were taken advantage of as artists. Comment: Not as good as the original singers, which is sad that they were taken advantage of as artists. I wish they would of told the buyer that it was not the original singers. It hurt the two lip sink artists of Milli Vanilli for one it took his life. The lip sink artists voices were good and it is a shame that the original singers along with the crooked manager took advantage of the two lip sink artists who really could sing.

Customer Rating: Summary: great and easy transaction! Comment: Great and easy transaction--fast shipping and product arrived in great condition. I would definitely recommend this seller!
Customer Rating: Summary: WARNING! THESE ARE NOT ORIGINAL VERSIONS! Comment: The songs on this "Greatest Hits" package are not original versions, and they will disappoint Milli Vanilli fans that remember and love the original versions aired on radio and MTV in the late 80s and very early 90s. You will be saddened by the inferior version of "Blame It On The Rain," which buries the vocal and botches the original single's great synth-hook that opened the song. The version of "Girl You Know It's True" presented on this CD is very disappointing and never kicks into the classic over-caffeinated chorus of the original. "All Or Nothing," "Baby Don't Forget My Number" and "I'm Gonna Miss You" are near-replicas of the original versions, and are still great-sounding. The other 11 songs on this CD are throw-aways, mere filler-material that you will skip over. If you loved the original versions (you can still hear them on youtube, at least), you don't want to buy this album. The original album "Girl You Know It's True" (as titled in the U.S.) that contained all their awesome foot-tapping hits is no longer in print, and their record label deliberately destroyed the masters of their biggest hits in a whirldwind of apparent contrition. Buy a used copy of "Girl You Know It's True" off Amazon, and pay the extra money. This CD will only let you down. You're going to miss "Blame It On The Rain."

Editorial Reviews:

Nearly a decade after Boney M called it quits, the man behind the band, Frank Farian, put together a musically similar duo who became far more successful (and infamous) than anyone had expected. Initially, everyone loved Milli Vanilli and their hook-laden singles that straddled both the Pop and R&B markets. Then, once it was discovered that the two gents in the videos and on the album covers did not sing on their recordings, everyone despised them. Now, nearly 20 years and one suicide later, the public has forgiven them for their sins and Milli Vanilli's melodic slices of Dance pop are in high demand again! 16 tracks including the hits 'Blame It On The Rain', 'Girl You Know It's True' and more. Sony/BMG.
