Comment: A friend of mine played his CD, "The City." and I had to buy one for myself.
Then I discovered two of his others, "Up Front" and "White Sand".
All three are now my favorites to play.
Start a fire in the fireplace, dim the lights and have a glass of wine and truly wind down and enjoy his music.
All three are "must haves"!

Comment: I have heard Paul Brown's name mentioned more than I have actually heard his music. My introduction to him here is well spent, though like the reviewer before me, you will indeed find a few choice cuts but the project as a whole is rather underwhelming. There is indeed no mistaking that Paul is indeed a premiere jazz guitarist in the vein of say, George Benson, Dee Brown, Pat Metheney, and the like. Nice smooth jazz cuts but nothing extraordinary though I would indeed be interested in hearing some of his other work. Certainly not a total waste if you appreciate the genre but there are more sparkling projects currently out there.
