Customer Rating: Summary: Shouldn't be a difficult decision. Comment: If you are a die-hard Knife fan, then this is something you ABSOLUTELY MUST GET YOUR HANDS ON.
If you have heard the Knife and like them, but aren't obsessed, then this DVD may not be worth purchasing.
Here's why:
The actual video quality on this DVD, atleast as it pertains to the live footage, is not stellar, so if you are just shopping for something aesthetically pleasing to watch on your plasma, this is probably not it.
If, however, you are like me, and own all the Knife's albums, remixes, have seen all their videos, and know what to expect, then go for it, as you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
The Knife is one of those bands that people have either never heard of (seems like most people fall into this category, well at least they did until Pitchfork ruined it) love, or hate.
Bottom line: If you are not sure whether or not you should purchase this DVD, then you probably shouldn't!
Customer Rating: Summary: Okay, there is finally good news for North American fans of the Knife Comment: My friend who religiously follows the Knife as if they were family just posted this in an email to our group of friends. I'm very happy to share this with those interested as well on here.

Finally, it all comes together: the reason we never saw that promised US release of the Silent Shout DVD, and the scoop on the "Limited Ed." Silent Shout release:
"Fans who were not able to see the band live will be treated to a new offering from The Knife in April 2007 when Mute releases the Silent Shout Deluxe Edition CD/DVD. The 3-disc package will include Silent Shout, the album, the DVD The Knife - Silent Shout: An Audiovisual Experience featuring the Andreas Nilsson-directed live show and videos from the albums Deep Cuts and Silent Shout. A live audio CD with music from the DVD will complete the package."

So, I imagine we'll stay tuned to [...] for the listing.
Customer Rating: Summary: Anyone know where to buy this? NTSC Format? Comment: Can someone kindly tell me where this dvd is available to buy in the US? NTSC Format. Much appreciated!
Customer Rating: Summary: Best Naked Darkness Comment: Naked is right. This is probably the best there is EVER. The sounds, the lights, the videos, the voices in the middle of the darkness that surrounds the sound...
