Customer Rating: Summary: Just received this as a gift. I can't stop playing it. Comment: Dav Koz touches my soul. What a beautiful CD. If you love wonderful music, get this for yourself or someone you love. A great selection of movie music classics were represented, as well. And, a special treat for me...a track with the legendary Johnny Mathis singing along with the beautiful background performances of Mr. Koz and Chris Botti. What more can you ask for? If I could have rated it higher, I would have.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dave Koz another GREAT album Comment: I have been a Dave Koz fan four about 4 years now since I saw him in concert in Concord, Ca. I have almost all of his albums (at least I think I do). His music is so soulful, relaxing, and invigorating all at the same time. I get nothing but compliments when I play this cd at work, and this album is a perfect product of a great artist.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great music! Comment: I have played this great DVD daily and hear something new each time.
We did see the video and especially appreciate having the music to enjoy! Dave Koz does a tremendous job of adding to the singer and band, as well as making a marvelous selection of music!
Customer Rating: Summary: Dave Koz does it again! Comment: I was immensely pleased with Dave Koz's most recent album, "At the Movies". Although I absolutely love and prefer Koz's original compositions, his recordings of these movie classics are certainly fantastic. Any movie buff or lover of jazz would find this album to be a worthy purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dave Koz CD Comment: The first time I heard of Dave Koz was on a Barry Manilow CD. I also saw him perform with Barry Manilow on his last tour. I enjoyed his music so much I went on-line to find a CD of his to buy. I was not disappointed with this one.

Concept discs tend to go one of two ways--they dance around a theme, causing listeners to draw their own conclusions about how well the album hangs together, or they come on strong. Sax man Dave Koz's At the Movies floats mellifluously into the second category. From the moment Judy Garland's voice comes keening through the crackle of "Over the Rainbow," we're transported directly into the cinema alongside Koz and a handful of high-wattage friends. Only in Koz's theater, the music is at times more heart-tuggingly pretty than we remember. "Moon River," from Breakfast at Tiffany's meanders gracefully before Barry Manilow surfaces to lend a languid, signature-smooth vocal. "The Shadow of Your Smile" from The Sandpiper sends ripples of bittersweetness down the spine straight through the soul. In a surprising standout track, India.Arie snakes her vocal to Tootsie's "It Might Be You" around Koz's sax so winningly you half-wish she had sung the original. Koz himself is no slouch here, either: six instrumentals belong to him exclusively, some so lush it seems a shame do-overs aren't on Oscar's radar. --Tammy La Gorce
