Customer Rating: Summary: Laura una vez mas nos prueba que es un angel Comment: Laura Pausini ha sido mi cantante femenina favorita. Sus canciones siempre cantan a la vida y al amor. Sabemos que esta su ultima produccion discografica no fue compuesta ni hecha por ella, pero nos da la fuente de inspiracion para todos sus otras producciones previas. Cada cancion en esta ultima produccion, toca temas que invitan a seguir lo que dicta el corazon, a amar, amar la vida plenamente, vivir en el presente de nuestras existencias en esa busqueda constante de amor que empieza desde uno mismo. Para mi su cancion cumbre hasta ahora es: Escucha a tu Corazon, esta obra sintetiza toda su esencia como cantante. Gracias Laura! Customer Rating: Summary: Great!! Comment: This is a great album of her. Some songs I heard them before and she made great versions of them. I personally think "Escucha" was better, but this still is a great great album. Customer Rating: Summary: YO CANTO, great song Comment: I am a Pausini fan since she sang La Solitudine and was heard in many continents. This album, is different, a compilation of italian writers and singers so it is not her own composition but her own way of singing them. The strongest song in the album is YO CANTO. I had only heard it after I bought the cd and it was very impressive, strong vocals as usual, soft, no more loud screams, it all comes out naturally for Laura now since her last two albums, LO MEJOR DE...LAURA PAUSINI in 2000 and ESCUCHA en 2005. Escucha was definitely a success for Laura, she won the Grammy, composed the songs at a difficult period in her life, so she puts all her emotions, anger, and hope into the cd. For me, the strong tracks on YO CANTO is this same song, Dos, and Estrella Gemela, who Eros Ramazzotti has a great version of it long before but Laura gives it a new smooth spin which is very nice to listen to. Melancholic. Enjoy it. Laura always gives her best. Customer Rating: Summary: NICE ALBUM Comment: I have to say that this album, although is very good and some songs are very catchy, it's not so strong as her previous album "Escucha". The best songs in my opinion are "Estrella gemela", "Mi canto libre" y "Corazón fragil" and the closing track "Por el camino". Still it's a worthy album, and it deserves to be heard, but I think that "Escucha" is slightly better and more consistent. More Reviews
Editorial Reviews: Italian, Spanish, or English: Laura Pausini's edgy, electric vocals are some of the most vibrant in contemporary pop. The endearing diva has been around for more than a decade, but the 2004 disc Escucha found her enjoying a newfound musical independence and worldwide success. Yo Canto is a long-brewing project dear to Pausini's heart: a collection of Italian pop covers spanning her lifetime. As with most of Pausini's releases, the disc is available in Italian and in Spanish. Yo Canto veers from dramatic balladry to fiery rock moments, anchored by Pausini's swooping, powerful vocal work. Several songs will be unfamiliar to fans outside of Italy, but it hardly matters. Pausini makes every moment her own, from the triumphant title track to the bittersweet "Escribeme." She's joined by international rock star Juanes during the lovely, lilting "Mi Libre Cancion." And fellow Italian pop idol Tiziano Ferro joins in for a new take on his brooding 2003 hit, "No Me Lo Puedo Explicar." There are many moments of sublime loveliness here.
