Watching and listening to this DVD will be a touching,moving experience for all people,in particular those who are interested in yiddish folk music, recent jewish history ,and klezmer music,all of which are part of the jewish culture that are kept here in a wonderful way for future generations. Customer Rating: Summary: Fiddler's House Comment: I had the privilege to work on this production as post-production supervisor. The whole project was an unforgettable experience. (I was also able to participate in the portions of the program that were taped in New York.) The photography is beautiful, particularly in Krakow and environs, and I can tell you that the care and sensitivity that went into the writing and editing is very evident in the final result. And by this I include the invaluable contributions of Mr. Perlman to the whole project as well. It was a subject dear to his heart and to many other project participants (other musicians, etc.) and this came through in the overall tone of the film. More Reviews
