Comment: The music is refreshingly original (even the adaptations of standards such as Down in the Valley are a joy to listen to). We never tire of this CD and I enjoy listening to it even when the kids are not in the car. A very worthy addition to your CD collection!

Summary: Soft, sweet and calming
Comment: A friend gave me this CD, which I love to play for my toddler when we are winding down for the night. He loves it when I sing along while he has his bath. I've started giving it to friends who are having new babies and they've loved it so far.

Comment: This album is a wonderful compilation of songs geared for children, but the original and fresh approach of Elizabeth Mitchell and family also make it very appealing for adults. The musicianship is superb, and it would be difficult to find a voice as sweet as Mitchell's!

Summary: Calms the savage toddler
Comment: Sweet and mellow, Elizabeth Mitchell's music calms the savage toddler. My 2 year old sometimes gets anxious during car rides and this CD bring us much needed peace during our car rides. A great collection of songs. I couldn't believe my years when he started to sing along to "I've got peace like a river in my soul." To hear your little one sing these songs will bring a tear to your eye. They are just so sweet. I was worried as an active boy that this would not appeal to him, but it is exactly what is needed at times to calm him down and take a reprise from jumping around and spinning! I plan to buy this again. It would make a great gift for someone having a new baby or a first birthday.

Comment: I love this CD. We listen to Elizabeth Mitchell CDs to and from school each day. Elizabeth has an amazing voice and this is very kid friendly, my 10 month old daughter has started dancing and shaking a rattle to the songs.
