Summary: We love Leigh!
Comment: This CD is great. It's really rare to find a CD where every track is something interesting and melodic, but this did not disappoint.
The second cut, "nervous in the light of dawn" will stick to your brain for days, begging you to play it. And you will oblige because it's such a beautiful song. Leigh's voice is lovely and soothing, if not slightly haunting. In a good way.
Great CD. Buy it! It will become an indie favorite.

Comment: Some reviewers have said that Leigh Nash's solo work is missing something without Matt Slocum, but I think that this CD is better than anything she has been involved in in the past. The songs d a great job of showcasing her voice and bring out the more soothing qualities of her vocals. I love how the album has so much variety but is cohesive at the same time. I also found the more optomistic lyrics refreshing. Most of the tracks are personal and sincere love songs that come sraight from Leigh's heart. The feeling of the album is much lighter and simpler than the more pnderous work of Sixpence None the Richer. It has grown on me with successive listens and is now one of my favorites.

Comment: It has been many years since a female vocalist has touched my heart and soul as Leigh Nash has in Blue on Blue. I have loved and still love many of Sixpence's songs but the melodic line, lyrical content and unbelievably beautiful voice of Leigh Nash all come together to create an exceptional work of art. It's magical.
