This is a new genre of music for me and I'm glad I stumbled upon it in a Celtic shop one day. It's great to listen to while I spend many hours a day in my car. Synthesizing almost every genre, from jazz, rock, Celtic-rock, blues, and country to name a few, the band's sound is completely original. Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome Comment: I am a fan of Enter the Haggis, first time I saw them was at a scottish festival in Westfield, MA, and I have all of their cds, this one is really great, all of their cds are great. Customer Rating: Summary: This group is AMAZING!!! Comment: I own two CD's by Enter the Haggis, and this one, "Soapbox Heroes" has got to be my favorite! The first track on the CD, "Lancaster Gate" is an instrumental, but it is so AWESOME! And if the second song "One Last Drink" doesn't get you toes tapping, I don't know what will! They sound like a combination of Country, Rock and Celtic music, nothing like I have heard before, but if it sounds like a strange combination to you, let me tell you, IT SO TOTALLY WORKS!!! These men are increadibly talented, and are definately worth a listen! I am a mother of two,(which includes a teenager) and I am "young" enough to appreciate GREAT music when I hear it! I'm not one to listen to music in the "World" genre, but Enter the Haggis blows me away with this CD. You can feel their amazing energy in this recording-an amount of energy that I would only expect from a live show. "Lancaster Gate" and "No More Stones" just explode! I'm a rock music fan and I'd never pick "Celtic" music as my listening choice, but Enter The Haggis has definitely crossed borders and caught my attention. I'm so glad I stumbled upon these guys!
