Summary: Pretty good considering what's missing
Comment: There is good and bad with this album. That having been said, if you're a Manilow fan then you should like this CD.

The bad is that this CD is missing some of Barry's bigger hits (most notably, Copacabana). That can't be helped, since this concert was before he even recorded or released the song.

On the other hand, the selections that are here are what you would expect from Barry - given what he ahd done up until that point - and they are well done. What I especially like is that this CD gives you the good live version of Daybreak. The live versions of his other standards (It's a Miracle, New York City Rhythm) are good and some of the other selections (VSM) definiately make this CD worth the money.

Summary: Wonderful memories
Comment: Years ago when I was a young homemaker and mother I bought this in cassette tape form and played it, and played it, and played it until I wore it out. Tried to buy a new one and couldn't. Gone was my favorite song "Studio Musician." It's not on any other recording that I could find...sooooo...when I found this double disc set I almost cried. I love so many of these songs but to those of us who have chosen another path and will never be "headliners" that piece speaks volumes...and now there are no babies to wake up if I crank it up so I can hear it all over the house!

Summary: Great Reissue
Comment: This took me right back to high school when I first bought it when it was released in 1977. I'm normally not a fan of live albums but this one has such energy and dare I say optimism that denotes the innocence of the 70's I was forced to make an exception. I bought the vinyl on Ebay awhile back and have just discovered this expanded version. As another reviewer mentioned it will be nice to bring this up to the digital age hearing a little aforementioned optimism that's missing a lot these days for me anyway. The song "Why Don't We Live Together" really takes me back to a calmer place. The couple of the song probably split up 6 months later but "at least they'll know they tried," just took the chance. Cool.

Summary: Must-have for any Manilow fan!
Comment: I've been a Barry fan from the beginning days and this is the first album I ever owned. I played it constantly! I was so hapy to see the anniversary issue and have this album in CD so I can start loving it all over again. For any die-hard Barry fan, this is a CD you NEED! Sing, Barry, Sing!!

Summary: I'm so glad to hear the complete show for the first time!
Comment: This was one of the first albums I owned (I was 7 when it was released). This one's responsible for influencing a life-long love of live recordings. I'm glad the complete show is here. I still have the vinyl copy, but now I've got a complete CD as well! What a great recording!
