Summary: One of the Greats
Comment: This Cd is great. I love Tool. This is my favorite of theirs besides Lateralus. They have such talent. I'm sorry I'm late on this review. Have to give the 5 star props. If you get the chance, go see Tool. They came out with flames to Jambi. Wings for Marie ( both parts ) will put you in another universe if you lose yourself in them. To me this cd seemed like a emotional evolution for tool. With undertow and opiate they we're almost crazy evil, like they were mad at God for putting them here. On Lateralus they seemed like they were accepting who they were and tring to grasp it and move forward. On 10,000 days they are blessed. It was like God handed them their instruments and said play this. I believe they show that we are all sacred beings on right in two. Listen to beauty at the end of rosetta stoned if you need proof of greatness. I will happily wait 20 years or however long it takes to make another record by these guys. Peace.

Comment: i've always liked tool, but this album was... different. some songs were almost transcendental. some of the songs really make you slow down, or even stop what you're doing or thinking about and just listen. the prime example of this for me on this cd was lost keys. that song isn't just a song... its an experience. it's like, the listener is in the head of someone who is lost, confused, scared and lonely. it was brilliant how they got the doctors to talk over the music to the 'main character', but the music over powers their words with the over bearing emotion so that while you hear the words, you don't care about them, because the voices don't care about you and don't understand what you're going through. they just want to 'deal with you' and get you out of there. ... it gets me every time. but its good. vicarious is another good one. if not buy the cd, make sure you listen to some songs (in my opinion the ones i mentioned hold the highest priority, of course).

Comment: This album sucks!!! Two maybe three good songs on it!! Thats B.S. I guess your just paying for the cool artwork!!!

Summary: This is the same disk as the US version
Comment: I picked this up due to another reviewer claiming the Import sounding better, well, he's wrong. I compared it bit by bit to the US version and they're identical. Not that there's anything wrong with the US version, it's my favorite from Tool so far and believe it's already well mastered. But, it's always nice to have something better, especially with the amount of work and $ I put into my rig.
At least the CD cover is unique.

Comment: Excellent album and innovative packaging. I strongly reccomend this album. Tool fans may find this one a bit lighter than their earlier albums but I like that they are continuing to evolve as a band.
