Customer Rating: Summary: Great artist Comment: This album is very good example of talent of Andy McKee. He has fantastic skills of handling acustiq guitars. Take this album and you will not regret.
Customer Rating: Summary: A unique acoustic guitarist Comment: I've been a fan of Leo Kotkke and Michael Hedges for many many years. I've learned to play some of Kottke's simpler pieces on 6 and 12-string guitar. I just discovered this CD by Andy McKee and I like it a lot. He has amazing technique. His music reminds me of Don Ross for it's percussive attack and some of the funky grooves. It occasionally sounds a bit like Alex de Grassi in the melodic content and harmonization. Highly recommended.
Customer Rating: Summary: chazshan Comment: Soothing, relaxing, intriguing. Andy Mckee is a master. Watch his videos on youtube and you will be more impressed with his art. This is a play you will not tire of. And to think all that incredible sound comes from one man playing one guitar. If you've never heard his guitar playing, you are in for a treat. Definitely recommend.
Customer Rating: Summary: Andy McKee Art of Motion Comment: I think Andy was a guitar in his previous life. You'll love listening to this CD. And if you haven't seen him play, put it on the "to do list."
Customer Rating: Summary: Very Chill Music Comment: Andy McKee's Art of Motion was purchased as a gift for my husband and we LOVE it! It is a very relaxing guitar, but the rhythms and melodies kept us awake for a long drive and don't distract too much if you are reading at home. I'm Very satisfied with this purchase!

In my humble opinion, Andy is the most innovative and exciting fingerstyle guitarist to emerge in years. Still in his 20's, Andy has developed a mastery of the 6-string guitar and the harp guitar that leaves me speechless. He is the most textural player of the instrument since Michael Hedges, and he creates sonic architecture worthy of the great modern composers for any instrument. - Don Ross
