Comment: I had been looking for a lot of his music and hadn't found one that had very many of my faviorites on it, until now! You either like Ray Stevens or you don't and I happen to be one who thoroughly enjoys his comedy! There are a few songs missing from his collection, but over all, it's a pretty great collection!

Summary: A hidden treasure
Comment: One song in particular "STAND UP" was worth the price of this album. This is one of those songs that should have made it to the very top, but didn't. I'm a Vietnam vet--and this song really hit home.

Summary: Ray Stevens Box Collection
Comment: If you could give an item a higher rating than five stars more like ten stars then this one surely deserves it. It is a must have for all Ray Stevens fans. Each of the three CDs have a wonderful blend of his comedy side along with his wonderful instrumental side and his serious side. I highly reccommend it for all Ray fans. If you are just toying around with the idea of becoming a Ray Stevens fan get yourself a copy of this box set and it will surely make a true blue Ray Stevens fan out of you. Excellent quality and very wonderfully made. It is a deffinate go get.

Comment: I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A HIGHER RATING , BUT I ONLY RECEIVED TWO (2) DISKS OF THE THREE (3) DISKS SET . I DID NOT RECEIVE DISK NUMBER 2 !!!!! IF YOU HAPPEN TO FIND MY DISC # 2 PLEASE SEND IT TO ME. THANK YOU

Comment: This box set is fantastic. It has all of his noted songs from the past as well as some new ones never heard before. Anyone who enjoys Ray Stevens needs this set.

Ray Stevens was born Harold Ray Ragsdale in Clarkdale, Georgia in January 1939. Clarkdale was a small cotton mill town 20 miles north of Atlanta. For more than 40 years, Ray Stevens has been entertaining us. From his novelty songs like "The Streak", to his tender ballads he has touched us. As with all outstanding writers, Stevens has away of creating characters and situations that highlight the humor in everyday life as well as larger issues and lifestyle trends.
