Customer Rating: Summary: CD Comment: Great Product and seller! I ordered it on a Thursday and recieved on the following Saturday. Extremely fast!
Customer Rating: Summary: Please don't compare this to Madonna! Comment: Please! Don't ever compare Britney to Madonna! She will never ever be half of what Madonna was... This is called a Greatest Hits album! And this is when I wonder... which hits?. She has only had 3 top ten hits so far... Most of the songs in this album didn't even make it into the top 20.
Now I guess you call a song a hit once it is either popular or has a deep impact on music!. But which song had such impact? Only hit me baby one more time.
If you call her sexy you should really define sexy, she has had an attractive image, which by the way has been the exact same image for almost a decade! Except for her bold days and wigs nowadays!
But she has always repeated the exact same formula trying to spice things up a little... But failing completely.
If you are a Britney fan this is for you, if you are not be cautious, don't buy this unless you enjoy at least 4 songs or more, otherwise this record will end up in some dusty box the day after you open it...
I enjoyed Britney's first two records, but I was 12 years old!!!!! Now I just play one or two of her songs once in a while, but the rest are lame.
She's the Lame Madonna of our decade, or a Lucky Cyndi Lauper of the new millenium, that if you take all the great ballads away from Cyndi, or if you take away all the brains and balls from Madonna's music.
BRITNEY IS LAME!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Record Ms. Spears! Comment: Giving you a brief rundown of where I stand, I thought Ms. Spears 1st record "Baby One More Time" and her 2nd one "Oops I Did It Again" had some nice moments. My favorite one remains her 3rd one. ("Britney"). "In the Zone" was not my favorite, but it had some great moments. Ms. Spears did a fairly good job of putting her greatest songs together, as well as giving us some previously unreleased tracks. (This is not always the custom of 'Greatest Hit Records.') The previously unreleased 'My Prerogative' is a GREAT opener with a rocky edge. 'Toxic' keeps the energy of the record going. I don't much like 'Slave 4 U.' But the record recovers with 'Oops I Did It Again.' I didn't much care for 'Me Against the Music.' But 'Stronger' and 'Everytime' are alright. 'Baby One More Time' is a catchy song from her 1st record that keeps the pace up. 'Crazy' is redone and has a nice almost 80s sound to it. (I actually like this redone version of 'Crazy' better.) I didn't like 'Boys.' But 'Sometimes' is a nice pleasant song. 'Overprotected' has a nice rocky edge to it. 'Lucky' is not my favorite, but it is alright. 'Outrageous' has a different, but still really great energy to it. 'I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman' has a nice pleasant sound to it. Britney gives us other nice sounding unreleased tracks at the end. ('I've Just Begun Having My Fun' and 'Do Something.') While she included some songs from her previous records that I didn't care for, I still think it is a GREAT collection. I also think it was great that she made her great song 'Crazy' even better. It was also nice that she gave us the cool and previously unreleased 'My Prerogative.' Thanks for the great record Ms. Spears!
Customer Rating: Summary: great cd! Comment: This cd is great. It is full of Britney's hits. Not a bad song on it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Britney Spears. THE pop STAR Comment: This cd included all of Britney's greatest hits. SHE has been around for a while. I love Britney and she will always be the best POP STAR EVER!

In the six years since her debut CD ...Baby One More Time set Billboard charts a-trembling, Britney Spears has pried open pop music's rusty cage and sprinkled her sex-kittenish fairy dust around like long-overdue disinfectant. She has also arguably done more for the neglected navel than Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé have done for the derrière. But despite her well-earned reputation for boldness (to which releasing a greatest-hits package after just four discs can only add), Britney calls it quits at making claims about her vocal talent. And that works in her favor. Because while My Prerogative is an exciting and even at times superb record, its merits lie almost exclusively in each track's production. From the Abba-esque choruses of her earliest hits ("...Baby One More Time," "Crazy") to the twitching, pulsed-up grooves of 2001's "I'm a Slave 4 U" to the technified bleeps and swizzles of 2003's self-skewering "Outrageous," the pop princess proves she's been largely content to let her in-studio performances take a back seat to the rhythm. With beats as consistently good as the ones she's managed to recruit, though, it's hard to blame her. "Toxic" and "Me Against the Music" mash trance and hip-hop into the mix, and the three previously unreleased joints don't shrink from sliding headfirst into new sound, either. The Bobby Brown cover and title track stomps and bomps to a bared-teeth backdrop, and "Do Somethin'" creates such dancefloor urgency it should come with a siren. "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)" treads two steps shy of crossing the Britney-bred boundary between sexy and raunchy, but fans will hope it's autobiographical anyway. For detractors the song--and the disc as a whole--should signal a long wait till the party's over. --Tammy La Gorce
