Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Best Collection of Music Ever, Ever, Ever Comment: I normally don't take the time to write reviews but I had to for this stuff. I am under 30ish. Been listening to music my entire life. I can honestly say that this is the best music I have heard. I have been listening to these tracks over and over for the last month. Sure, it isn't perfect and I will probably move on to something else in the future. I go into the music store looking for something like AndyC. Still can't find it. I am used to more a Diesel Boy style so AndyC's night life grew on me, didn't like it first the replay value is worth the price of admission. But to be fair, I didn't like the Producer CD. I was more into the DJ. Honestly, can someone recommend something else at this level? Customer Rating: Summary: Definitely Worth Buying!!! Comment: I've always been a fan of Andy C and when I heard about Nightlife 2, I knew I had to get it. THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST DRUM & BASS CD THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!! I thought the first Nightlife cd was really good, and it is, but Nightlife 2 is UNBELIEVABLE! YOU MUST GET THIS CD NOW!! Customer Rating: Summary: Massv of all Massv Comment: Is this guy a better DJ or producer? From his Ram Trilogy and Origin Unknown stuff, he's composed some of the best D&B trax ever. But his DJ skills are equally impressive, probably one of the best in this genre (not ez muzik to mix--trust me). CD 1 has some absolute bombs on it, and they are mixed to perfection. If I were to nit pick, I wish he let a few of these stormers go a lil' longer ("Together" by Logistics is an all time roller) but in his defense, he's rinsing 29 trax, so I can understand. Disc 2 is some of his best work as a producer w/ Ram and O.U. ("Dred Bass", which he has a remix of on this disc) is one of the 1st trax that turned me on to Jungle--it's an all time classic. Anyway, both of these discs are my 4 shots of espresso on my to work every morning. Customer Rating: Summary: SICK DRUM & BASS Comment: If you like drum and bass this is the album for you. Even if you dont like drum and bass and your in to other styles like hardcore or Freeform you will LOVE this CD. Number 26 is one of the best songs I have ever heard. Customer Rating: Summary: Andy C. at his best Comment: I have been a fan of Andy C. for quite some time, getting my hands on every album he's put out. I believe him to be one of the best mixers of drum & bass around. When I heard about this album, I rushed straight to the store to buy it. The first Nightlife album was great, but is no comparison to this one. It starts off with a bang and ends with a bang. Both CDs are jam packed with some of the grittiest drum & bass tunes your ears will ever hear. Some of the intros on these CDs blew me away! I rewind through intros almost every time I listen to these CDs. The bass will make your speakers explode, and I talk from experience. I played a few of the songs from this collection on a friend's stereo and he ended up needing new speakers. When that happens, you know it's good! You need this album, buy it, don't miss out. This Time the Project is Expanded to a Double CD, with CD Two Encompassing a Collection of Andy's Discology of Remixes, Solo Projects, and Collaborations. The First CD, However, is a Totally Blazing Dub-fresh Mix from the World's No.1 Drum and Bass DJ. Essential!
