Comment: This is a great album. Neville Brothers live is a whole different experience than the studio recordnings - more surprises, better synchronizing, organic but tight. Best Neville Bros. album I've listened to.

Summary: New Orleans Classic Funk
Comment: This is a classic Neville Brothers album. Recorded live at Tippitina's in front of an adoring crowd it features the awesome vocal harmonies that have always been a Neveille Brothers trademark with their superb band. It was originally issued as two LPs. A few of the tracks are standard nightclub "cover" tunes but the vast majority are fiery originals or seldom heard songs from other writers that the Neville's have made into their own.
My only regret with this collection is the omission of "Mojo Hannah". Ow well, it's still a terrific CD and one that everyone interested in Aaron Neville and his family should own.
