Comment: I am american and I speak no spanish at all and I LOVE this album by Selena. This is for sure the best all spanish album by Selena. If you are a Selena fan and if you don't already have this album get it. You will LOVE it. Her vocals were great and the songs are incredible.

Summary: Selena Our Treasure Forever
Comment: Everything Selena did was gold. It's just a shame she had to be tacen away just when she was supposed to be introduced to the rest of the world! New fans did not get to see what a bomb she was on stage, and what a sweet ni~na mujer she was. A life-long and forever Sel fan.

Summary: Perfect album
Comment: This is Selena's perfect album, every song is a gem! There is variety and every song is stuck in your head. I cant choose a favourite but I do love 'ya no' particuarly. This is the essential Selena album. Make sure not to pass up 'Entre a mi mundo' also!

Summary: My favorite singer
Comment: I really like the songs that Selena sings. The thing I like about it is that she sings English and Spanish. I also like her voice and the way that her brothers and sister play the instruments. I think that it really nice that mostly the whole family is in it. I like Selena's songs more than anyother C.D. I wish she didn't die but she did. Even though she's dead, I still listen to hre songs.

Released in March 1994 exactly a year before Selena would be shot and killed by her ex-fan club president, this CD demonstrates a band at the peak of its creative force. The hits were obvious--the eloquent "Amor Prohibido," on love conducted in secret, and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," a magical pop tune that could work in any dance club. "Cobarde" and "El Chico" were easy cumbias to like; "Fotos y Recuerdos" was an ironic message on having only photographs and memories left. But highly underrated was the lovely and stoic "No Me Queda Mas," on facing the end, yet keeping a sense of dignity and self-worth. --Ramiro Burr
