Customer Rating: Summary: ALBATR0SS!!! Comment: The fact that Bruce says ''Albatross'' a couple of times during ''...Ancient Mariner'' is worth the price and the reason this album is a classic. Comment: A staple of every metal fans collection, this really is one of the bands great moments..(they've had several). You also owe it to yourself to check out another great cd, the new Fozzy All That Remains Reloaded....outstanding. Customer Rating: Summary: Maiden's Crowing Achievement Comment: This is where Maiden comes to the summit with a great long album that was followed by a grueling world-wide 13 month tour. Excellent songs where each member shines in his unique contribution. Fast powerful bass by Harris, awesome drums by McBrain, divine guitars by Smith and Murray, and the strong melodic vocals of Bruce Dickinson. Although 'Aces High' and '2 Minutes...' are often considered 2 of the best songs on this album, I think 'The Duellist' and 'Flash of the Blade' have some of the best guitar duos on the whole album. Great work with the title song of course and a good adaptation of Coolidge's poem in which Dickinson recites for us some of the greatest works of British literature. This is one of Maiden's all-time best albums and just a crowning achievement. A must for any true metal fan! More Reviews
