Summary: Animosity Is A Sheer Winner!
Comment: For starters, no question this is Sevendust's best effort to date of all their albums. I absolutely loved every single song on this record, even though I've love anything these guys create musically, lol. Opening with a great sound called "Tits On A Boar", and follwoing that with their smash hit "Praise", probably my all time favorite song played by these guys, you just know this album is gonna be a treat. I literally still to this day can't get enough of this CD, and still listen to it all the time.

Comment: This is not only Sevendust's best album, but my favorite album ever. Sevendust is known for their hard rockin' and melodic songs. This CD blends them together so perfectly, only God could create a better mix.
It's not something I can convince you in a review, just listen to it and you'll get hooked more and more each time. From the harder Trust and Crucified, and Praise to the more relaxing Xmas Day and Angel's Son, this is perfect.

Comment: coming from a big sevendust fan i would have to say this is their best cd and i own them all. if you like sevendust cause of their melody than this cd is great for you and if you like them for their hard stuff then this cd is also good cause they have a few heavy tracks here aswell. any fan of melodic hard rock should pick this cd up its worth it. my favorite songs on here are shine damaged crucified and live again.

Comment: I only heard of Sevendust after seeing them play Angel's Son on Letterman, and I was blown away. So, I immediately bought their cd, not having heard another song. I was pretty surprised to hear how heavy they were, considering Angel's Son is very ballad-like. But I loved the cd from the first song to the last. I've listened to clips from their other cds, which seem decent, but from what I've heard, this is the epitomal Sevendust cd. Perhaps a bit more mainstream and hooky, but there's not a thing wrong with that. while very heavy, it's also very melodic, and i can get even a Britney Spears lover to enjoy this cd.

For the first time in the life of the band, Sevendust (TVT Records) have had time to write and create their songs at home, not in between tour dates as they have in the past. With this new, found freedom, the band wrote 13 mind blowing, beautifully-crafted hard rock classics.
