Comment: Absolutely incredible! From the first opening strains to the last amen this is my current all-time favorite worship album! I just wish we could hear the entire concert and not just the music. It's been a while since I've seen Smitty perform in concert and I miss him.

Comment: I'll be honest in admitting that I don't really understand the concept of a "worship concert." The strange intersection between performance and worship is somewhat unsettling to me and murkier in this setting than during a worship service.
With that said, I enjoy this album. Many of the songs are recycled from other songwriters, which is unusual for a Smitty album. And even though some of them are somewhat old, they're all arranged in unique forms and provide something new for the listener.
The arrangement of "Agnus Dei" isn't my favorite, but that is still a magnificent song. "Let It Rain" is obnoxiously repetitive, though it does provide a hauntingly beautiful melody.
This album isn't particularly spectacular and doesn't add much of note to the contemporary worship library. But for fans of Michael W. Smith's sound, it's certainly a worthwhile album to own. I enjoy popping it in and singing along with these familiar songs.
