Comment: This is the album I've been waiting for. I'm enjoy R.L.'s most recent albums but they only skim the surface of what lies behind that voice. For me, It's R.L. and an acoustic guitar. Listen to him on "Crying won't make me stay" or "Miss Maybelle"; no drum machines, no progaming, just that voice and those fingers on steel strings. If you like his Acoustic Stories album this is even better. This damm album makes me smile- well, well well. Rock on R.L.

More than a full hour, 19 tracks, of Burnside playing some his best-known tracks and others on this record. Recorded in 1980-1982, this documents a period of Burn's career not well known before.
