Summary: A Catalogue of Talent
Comment: I've had this CD for a few years now, and I have played it over and over again. It is a comprehensive introduction to the talents of a diverse list of Blues Piano players. The information sleeve is interesting and extensive.
Some of the pieces featured are light, funny and frivolous, others flamboyant and dramatic, and others are really quite dark in lyric and atmosphere.
Some of the playing will take your breath away - well, it did mine, and still does...
