Customer Rating: Summary: beats Comment: The beats were good in this one one of the better mixes I've heard. I was not disappointed, but its not exactly on the hit list...
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome Jungle Beat Comment: This is a kickass jungle mix. Pop it into your car stereo and hit the road - watch for cops because you will be speeding in no time!!! Also be aware - you won't be able to stop dancing when you are waiting at the redlights, much to the amusement of your fellow commuters! But who cares!!!!! If you are looking for some high energy and solid beats that will send your spirits soaring, you can't get any better than this! "Cause I'm a Jungle Brother - a Jungle Brother!"
Customer Rating: Summary: A few high points but mostly dull Comment: Aphrodite must have been preoccupied when he mixed this one. For the most part the tracks drag on with no end in sight or build toward some invisible (and unmelodic) climax. There are a few with powerful beats and creative touches such as tracks 14 featuring Jungle Brothers and 13 featuring N.W.A. But for the most part the rappers take center stage and Aphrodite doesn't add much. If you really want to sample his talent buy his self titled CD.
Customer Rating: Summary: WOW...no other man like Aphrodite. Comment: I just got the cd today and I cannot stop listening to it. Aphrodite really lives his name down, "The King of Beats," in this CD. From track one to the last track, it is non stop grooves and beats. If you are the jungle, drum and bass type who likes to "Rock Da Funky Beat" (as my favorite track suggests), get this. If you are an all time lover of the cut "I Got Five On It" get this. I have not heard any mixes for these 2 songs like this, ever. Aphrodite, you did it again, and as long as you are around, I will forever buy this musik!
Customer Rating: Summary: Drum & Bass head? Comment: This C.D. is enough to make you "nut". 15 tracks of non-stop goodness (track 16 drops hard, but is a bit lame). A must have for all you club kids and for everyone out of the scene. With samples from N.W.A. remixed by "The King of the Beats" himself and some oldies but goodies like Brown Paper Bag, Jungle Brothers (Aphrodite's True Blue mix), Man of Steel, and Natural Born Chiller's Funky Beats; you can not go wrong. From start to almost finish, you just can not stop listening to this. I must have already listened to it 100,000 times (no kidding).
