Comment: the reason why you can't copy this CD is because it is a 24 bit SACD! you CAN NOT downconvert the format into standard 16 bit (CD audio) without a converter! It DOES NOT matter if they are hybrid or straight SACD's. They will all do this for the most part. DO NOT blame this on the CD manufacturer!
BTW... the CD is outstanding as well.

Comment: I like the music on this CD. This Could Be Real and Mikayla's Smile are my favorites. HOWEVER - when I tried to add this album to my mini disc collection - IT WOULD NOT RECORD. I paid full list price for a new CD. I expected to be able to listen to this music as I choose. I CANNOT. I will never buy another CD that is advertised as "HYBRID SACD". This one had no warnings or advisements on the Amazon web page. If you think that paying full list price for new merchandise should get you a CD that you can use in any format that you choose - LET EVERYONE ELSE KNOW - This isn't one of them. I support musicians and really love what they give to us. This type of thing does no one any good. Keep enjoying good music.

Summary: Not a ENKO but a love affair
Comment: The jacket reminds me of the love affair I had with a certain woman last year in a fashonable city hotel.The mood is right for lovers.The saxman RICHARD,who was once the member of the TOP,blows his sax like a SUMO wrestler.In other words , he blows fiery and passionately and erotically.RICHARD isn't very popular in JAPN,because he is not very handsome.Japan is the good-looking conscious country.That's why I push RICHARD strongly.It is the content that counts.Keep pushing ,RICHARD.Woman needs sax just like you do.Richard always gives off saxuality.MUFUFU.

Summary: GREAT CD
Comment: If you want a contemp. jazz cd that you can put in at night and just "Chill" this is the cd to get. Right from the first track you will be put in the mood for a relaxing time. This is a cd you can play for a romantic evening or for a calm party. I own 12 of Richard Elliot's cd's and this is the one I would recommend the most. After that "On The Town" and "Richocet" tie, but those two have a more uptempo tracks compared to this one. This cd is a must have!!!!

After making his name with Tower of Power and the Yellowjackets, Scottish-born saxophonist Richard Elliot made the transition to smooth jazz with much success. On this, his 11th album as a leader, Elliot stays true to the sound that has won him so many fans. Snaking his lush and friendly sax between mostly midtempo beats, Elliot dusts his warm tone with just the slightest hints of soul and funk. A vocal track with Siedah Garrett and a guest spot by Rick Braun add to the album's pleasing diversity. --S. Duda
