Summary: Not as magical as it's marketed to be
Comment: This CD may work great for some families/children, but not everyone. My 3-month-old has had difficulty falling asleep since day one. I purchased this hoping it would magically solve our problem. After 2 months, the CD still hasn't induced sleep as it claims to. Nor has it ever stopped her crying. I now use it as part of the bedtime routine to set a calm, soothing mood. As far as I can tell, my daughter seems indifferent to it, but it gives me something to sing to her while getting her ready for bed. For those with difficult babies who respond to white noise, I would recommend "The Happiest Baby on the Block" CD. It calms my fussy girl often within seconds. She falls asleep shortly thereafter.

Summary: Heartbeat Nursery Songs CD Put Baby and Dogs to Sleep!
Comment: We got the music in the mail today, and by the correctness of my spelling you can guess there's no incredibly awake and crying baby on my lap! Molly is 5 weeks old, and having a hard time falling asleep if she isn't lying on top of me or my husband, which as you know can really cramp your ability to get ANYTHING done... within 15 minutes she was asleep in her cradle and finally getting some rest. THANK YOU! (We received this next part the following morning): Cathy there's just one more benefit we discovered last night. We have 2 Shetland Sheepdogs (miniature collies) who are a little on the high strung side (a little?? Woof). My husband put Molly to sleep with the CD last night, and came downstairs laughing because both Texas and Iggy were out like a light. Texas was actually snoring! Comment: This album sucks! I hate how Terry sings "Skip To My Lou" The way she sings it makes me cringe. I've heard it and therefore, it stinks! Nobody should buy this album, it's a piece of _______!

Comment: I recieved this as a baby gift and was amazed on how it really helped my son sleep and stop crying. As a first time mom it even helped me fall asleep at the same time. It is a wonderful gift idea.

Summary: Incredibly smothing for everyone
Comment: Since I received volume 1 and 2 Stops Crying Cd as a gift I can't believe that our life isn't the same anymore. My kids are so use to sleeping with the Cd on everynight that it has become a routine for our family to play it while we asleep the smothing sound of heart beat thumping with the mixture of the lullabies is a marvelous therapy music to sleep with. We recommend it to everyone that has kids and want a fantastic night of sleep.
