Summary: Music That Will Inspire You
Comment: This CD is one of the best CDs I own. Because I'm a Rocky Fan, and my favorite movie is Rocky IV, I purchased this CD a couple of years ago. I first heard songs from this CD(especially "Eye of the Tiger") when I was participating in track and field. Songs from this CD inspired all of the guys and me, and everyone worked hard. That's when I became a Rocky Fan!
Most of the songs are from the movie Rocky IV and a few others are remakes of Bill Conti's "Gonna Fly Now" song by the Rocky Orchestra.
In the CD Album "Rocky IV", there's those love songs that don't make sense and have nothing to do with the plot of the movie. All of the songs on the "The Rocky Story" can pump you up. Since all of the Rocky IV songs on this CD are pop-rock music, it's convenient that the song "Gonna Fly Now" is remixed to give you a different feel about it.
This is my favorite CD; it's very entertaining, it pumps me up and inspires me to achieve my goals. These are the best songs from the Rocky movies.

Comment: I am really enjoying the CD. I love the Rocky soundtrack. If this soundtrack doesnt motivate you with whatever your doing then you dont have a beating heart.. Love it from beginning to end

Comment: I purchased this CD to download onto an MP3 player so I can listen to it while I run. I haven't been able to get it away from my kids long enough to use it yet. Great music from great Rocky movies! We all love it.

Summary: Really Under Rated
Comment: Rocky has one of the most under rated soundtracks in history. It's just as good as SAturday Night Fever, but unlike that, doesn't get caught up in its own pretentiousness. Eye of the Tiger gets things going, an awesdome 80s track that is much more straight heavy metal. Then the next several tracks are also by Survivor, as this makdes up about half the whole disc, taken from Rocky 4. Hearts on Fire remains very under rated, Living in America only gets bett each time, The Burning Heart remains emotional. The rest of the album is really hit or miss. War I even under rate, only because it pales in comparison to even Hearts on Fire. The real show stopper here though is Gonna Fly Now, taken from the first Rocky flick, a timeless masterpiece that is a mix of classical, high school band geek and disco with some heavy metal solo thrown in for good measure. A classic album I love that some people just don't care for.

Comment: I you wish have the rocky movies soudtracks, get the last one (from Roky Balboa) This just has 10 songs and the new one has the almost the best, but if you get this and the new you will have all better song ( still mising mesurement of men from rocky V)
Get two disc an save a lot of money get it 5 disc
