Summary: down memory lane
Comment: We owned this as a cassette when my now 23 year old daughter was still in elementary school. I shared the news of my purchase with her. She could still sing the title track from memory. "Sleep Sound in Jesus" sang her to sleep for many years and brought with it much comfort.

Summary: Not a fan of singer's voice
Comment: I had a hard time listening to this CD that we received as a baby gift because the woman's voice sounds like she's singing in too high of a note. I'm very particular about what our children listen to and really can't recommend this music. The songs themselves are absolutely beautiful, but I wish the singer would have sung in a lower tone.

Comment: My mom played this CD every night for me to fall asleep to when I was little, and a couple of times for me when I was having problems when I was a little older. I am now 17 years old, and I still remember these songs. I truely love this CD, and find myself humming the music when I want to fall asleep at night. I haven't listened to it in a few years, and it seems like my mom has misplaced the CD, so I decided to listen to the samples on Amazon. I have to say, this is probably the most soothing thing I've ever listened to. It even beats out my thunderstorm/nature sounds! I would recommend this CD to anyone who is going to have children or who has a baby. I know that my mother and I will always have a connection linked through this music, and recommend it to anyone who wants their 17 year old to love their mom as much as I love mine.
