Comment: I loved the songs on this CD. I listen to it all the time when I take my walks. It makes walking fun as you can walk with the different tempo songs. I would recommend this CD for anyone who is a Connie Smith fan and even for anyone who isn't. The music is great!!!

Comment: Maybe it's just me, but I found the first half of the CD to be outstanding. It was her earlier works. Very country. The songs played to her main strength: vulnerable woman. However, the 2nd set of songs didn't do anything for me. They kinda strayed from the country roots.

Comment: With heartache that can be felt through her voice, the CD starts with her debut Classic, "Once A Day", written by Bill Anderson, the man who "discovered" her. Also included are six other Anderson penned songs, "Nobody But A Fool (Would Love You)", "I Can't Remember", "Then and Only Then", "You And Your Sweet Love", "Cincinnati, Ohio" and "I Never Once Stopped Loving You" (co-written by Bill's duet partner, Jan Howard). The disc includes only one song penned by Connie, herself, "I'll Come Running". As much as she's been known for her deeply devoted religion as well as for her music, this CD includes only one Gospel song, "How Great Thou Art". Connie covers Don Gibson's "Just One Time" and the Gordon Lightfoot penned "Ribbon Of Darkness" (also a hit for Marty Robbins). Wish this CD also included these other hits by Connie during her RCA years: "Tiny Blue Transistor Radio", "Darling, Are You Ever Coming Home?" and "Where Is My Castle?"
