Customer Rating: Summary: Love to tell you about it, but....... Comment: I would love to write a review of this product for Amazon, but I have one problem. I NEVER RECIEVED IT!!!!!!!!! I can substitute a review of my latest credit card statement showing where I was charged for it, but I doubt it would have the same flair.....
Customer Rating: Summary: Jim Steinman still the best Comment: This album shows a lot of promise for singers who should have been better received in the music scene rather than just in the film/theater world. For some reason the soundtrack seems to lack the power and clarity of the film version of the songs. Perhaps they were re-mixed or something but to watch the film on DVD and hear the music seems better than what is on this album. Still a great item for film and music lovers.
Customer Rating: Summary: Streets of Fire Comment: Enjoyed the music as well as the story line. Michael Parré excellent performer. Action so so, but neverthelesss enjoyable
Customer Rating: Summary: Something about it... Comment: It's cool to see all of the high ratings on this movie and soundtrack. With all of the crap out there today, it means that there are people who can still appreciate some GOOD campy entertainment that doesn't include idiots.
This soundtrack is wonderful but the movie needs to be seen to appreciate it. It's not a stand alone album like some soundtracks are. Good cult movie, good cult soundtrack. Steinman ROCKS!
Customer Rating: Summary: great sound track Comment: In a day and age of ITunes you would think that you could find the sound track to this cult classic. Thank goodness that I did find it on Amazon.com now when I'm walking my dogs I can rock out to Sorerer or Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young. Great digital sound.

The film soundtrack that acted as the vehicle to promote the late Dan Hartman's last hit single 'I Can Dream About You' as well as The Fixx's 'Deeper And Deeper', plus tracks from Marilyn Martin, Greg Phillinganes, Maria McKee, Ry Cooder, The Blasters and more.
