Customer Rating: Summary: Great music...especially for the little ones. Comment: We own this on cassette, but just had to have it on CD! Great music for all and especially for the little ones.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Comment: We love this CD! Puff the Dragon and Somewhere Over the Rainbow are great! It's nostalgic for me, and fun for my little girl!
Customer Rating: Summary: Lots of good songs Comment: I bought this for my oldest son when he was two and he loved it. There were both familiar and new songs for him on it - but all of them were good. Also, it's not so bad for an adult to listen either.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good, not perfect Comment: This is definitely a cut above most music for kids, and we often listen to it over dinner. The first half is EXCELLENT, with the original Puff the Magic Dragon, Danny Kay's Ugly Duckling, and an amazing, irresistable, Skip To My Lou. The garden song is lovely. The second half however, can be a bit lame. Somewhere Over the Rainbow is boooring, and Wynken Blynken and Nod is sung in a falsetto I actually find annoying. Jelly Man Jelly and Baby Beluga are OK, nothing special. So, yes I would buy it again. But be prepared to skip the lame bits and wonder why they couldn't have chosen better for these.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Comment: We borrowed this from the library so many times that I finally bought a copy for my daughter to own. Even us parents love it. It has many classic songs that I remember from my childhood and it's great to relive the memories again with my child.

Editorial Reviews:

This is a family album in the truest sense. With entertainers like Burl Ives, Danny Kaye, Pete Seeger, Loggins & Messina, Taj Mahal, and James Taylor performing some of their best-loved kids' titles, adults and children can share in the joy and fun of this multigenerational collection. Be it quacking with "The Ugly Duckling," singing along with folksy "This Old Man," bopping to the calypso beat of "The Banana Boat Song," or daydreaming to "House on Pooh Corner," every member of the family will find a favorite in this compilation of songs by the original artists. --Deborah L. Moore
