Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Comment: when I first heard of Kenny Wayne Shepherd didn't think I'll end up buying his CD's till I heard 10 Days Out Blues from the Backroads CD and DVD an Excellent album so been listening to his music since and Ledbetter Heights is another Great CD recommended .
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent mixture! Comment: This is an excellent CD. I was suprised how intense that it is. I would really recommend this to serious music listeners
Customer Rating: Summary: Wow! What a FIRST album....where does he go from here? Comment: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, in his first CD, is amazing. There will be the inevitable comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughan (and perhaps Jonny Lang), but the tone and style of his super guitar playing are different than SRV. (Note that I did not say better than....) There is a wide range of SRV style blues and playing along with acoustic, slide and such. I am glad that I bought this thoroughly enjoyable CD and can recommend it to all who like electric guitar blues, Delta blues and more!
Customer Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Rockin' Rhythm and Blues Comment: Shepherd is reminiscent of the great Stevie Ray Vaughan, and therefore makes Stevie's fans yearn for the real deal. This makes a review by a confirmed SRV fan somewhat suspect and potentially unfair to Kenny Wayne, who is an accomplished blues guitarist - just not in Vaughan's class.
Customer Rating: Summary: ledbetter heights Comment: This is a great bunch of music; very addicting. Play it at least once a day.
