Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent CD Comment: Every other comment is right on the money. This is one of the best cds that I own, and having once worked in a cd store, I own many, many cds. I was fortunate enough to see Super 8 as part of the Horde Fest in '96 and the next day began hunting for this cd. Why this band never got as big as Zeppelin is way beyond me. Not a bad track on the record. 12 years later, I still love this cd and still get calls from friends asking me about this cd. This band is proof that all artists live and die by the record companies, regardless of talent. I just can't say enough positive things about this band, and I would have loved to hear another 10 albums by them. Guess I'll have to listen to this one over and over again. And for anyone interested, Super 8 did a cover of John Lennon's "Well, well, well" on the "Working Class Hero: A Dedication to John Lennon" CD. I only bought the cd because of Super 8, but there are a lot of other good tracks on there. Buy this cd, you will not be disappointed.
Customer Rating: Summary: an unknown classic Comment: If you like intelligent ROCK, you need to own this cd. Not one weak track, great playing by all members, great vocals, what's not to like. All the other reviewers are spot on, this is a classic that flew completely under the radar. Thank you fellow music fans for pointing me at this incredibly talented band. You are really missing out if you don't hear this.
Customer Rating: Summary: The most underrated band ever Comment: I discovered Super 8 unfortunately after they had gone their separate ways so I never got to see them perform, but I truly think this album is one of the all time great rock albums. I am blown away by the fact that these guys were not absolutely huge. The writing, the vocals, the musicianship are unbelievable, and they have a true one-of-a-kind style that makes them immediately recognizable.
I would stand them toe to toe with any rock band of any era and dare anyone to find me 10 bands better than these guys. I think they were obviously grossly mismanaged, and that their label really missed the boat by not pushing the crap out of this record. Critics drooled over Guns N Roses in their day but they let this one slip through their fingers big time in 1997.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great CD Comment: First of all I want to say that this cd reminds me of the first time I got it from my cusin Heming Borthne who moved to LA to get famous, and to make some friends and money. This CD is (if I remember right) my cusin's first album with the band, and it shows that punk music doesn't have to be as hard as Linkin Park or Nirvana or the other bands. If I had the chance I would have gven this 6 stars, but I hope 5 is enough.
